Dr. Ho

Tao A. Ho, M.D. was born in Vietnam and has been living in Texas since 1975. Armed with an undergraduate degree from The University of Texas at Austin, he attended The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio where he also stayed for his residency. After serving as Chief Resident in 1997 - 1998, his then girlfriend, now wife drew him to Dallas. Dr. Ho sees the practice of medicine as a collaboration between himself and his patients. “Influenced by their life experiences, health, and exposure to our complicated health care system, each patient is unique. My job is to communicate with each individual person and together, develop a plan to achieve their best medical health possible. I feel strongly about disease prevention and see education as vital to this goal. Ultimately, I want my patients to view me as someone who takes their health issues as seriously as I would my own.” Away from medicine, Dr. Ho enjoys reading, following University of Texas Longhorn sports, and spending time with his family. His wife, Vi, is a dentist in Plano and they have a son, Thaden, with two more children planned in the next few years.

Dr. Ighani

Afsaneh (Amy) Ighani, M.D. was reared in Lubbock, TX and received her medical training at The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. She completed her residency at Scott & White Hospital in Temple and began practice in 1999 at Baylor Medical Center at Garland. "I strive to provide high quality patient care to each patient. I have special interest in women's healthcare and preventive care. I hope to motivate individuals to take control of their health by modifying their lifestyle and habits," said Dr. Ighani. Dr. Ighani grew up in an environment in which medicine was a focal point for the entire family. Her father is a retired dentist and her mother a nurse. She has two brothers, one an anesthesiologist and the other an ophthalmology resident. In her spare time, Dr. Ighani enjoys reading, attending theatrical productions, cooking and playing volleyball.

Dr. Murphy

J. Shaun Murphy, M.D. grew up in Richardson, Texas and went to Jesuit High School in Dallas where he was salutatorian of his graduating class. He received his medical training at The University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas. Dr. Murphy has been a D-Magazine Dallas Best Doctor in 2006 and 2007. And, he has been a Texas Super Doctor in Texas Monthly Magazine in 2006 and 2007. "Patients know what is best for them. My duty as a physician is to listen to my patients and together we develop a plan for them to achieve their best possible health. I will provide the highest quality of care and I will do so in an honest, compassionate and respectful manner," said Dr. Murphy. When away from the practice, Dr. Murphy enjoys golf, fishing, computer games, science fiction novels and is an aquarium enthusiast. His wife Amy is a family practice physician in Carrollton and he has three children. Macie (girl) and TWINS Logan (boy) and Mallory (girl). Dr. Murphy has special interests in laser resurfacing, laser tattoo removal, scar revision and body contouring.

Dr. Nguyen

Tri T Nguyen, M.D. grew up in Lake Jackson, Texas near the gulf coast. He completed medical school at The University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas and then completed his residency at The University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. He began his medical practice in metropolitan Dallas in 2001. From the beginning, Dr. Nguyen is a strong advocate for the promotion of health and prevention of disease. He also believes wellness has more to do with health than just fighting off disease. It is also about exercise, relaxation and rejuvenation. His interest in aesthetic medicine stems from the desire for his clients to improve upon their cosmetic appearance. He continued his post graduate training to obtain certification in various cosmetic laser modalities, as well as to become certified in the administration of various non-surgical cosmetic restorative techniques, including BOTOX®, Restylane®, and Chemical Peels. Combining his knowledge in internal medicine, preventative medicine, and aesthetic skills, Dr. Nguyen continues to strive for the optimization of health and overall well-being for his clients.

Dr. Ton-That

Dr. Ton (That) grew up in Wichita, Kansas where he graduated as the Valedictorian from Maize High School. He received his Bachelor of Science with Summa Cum Laude from Wichita State University and Medical Degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine. He finished his Internal Medicine residency at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas in 1999. After providing inpatient care as a hospitalist at Baylor Medical Center in Garland for 5 years, Dr. Ton started his outpatient practice with Dallas Medical Specialists at Medical City in 2004. The medical care that he provides to his patients has always centered on the philosophy of “treating the person as a whole, and not the sum of his/her parts”. This same dedication has led Dr. Ton to join his talented partners in opening Dallas Medical Spa, the Medical Aesthetics Center. Using the latest advances in laser and medical aesthetics such as BOTOX® and fillers, he aims to offer safe and effective medically-supervised treatments for his patients to achieve an image that reflects both their inner as well as their outer health.

Dr. Zebaida

Dr. Zebaida was born and raised in Corpus Christi, TX. He graduated summa cum laude with a degree in chemistry from the University of Texas at Austin. He then attended UT Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, and completed his residency in internal medicine at Parkland Hospital. Dr. Zebaida developed a focused interest in aesthetic medicine early in his professional career. He holds particular interest in the cosmetic applications of BOTOX® injections and the exciting possibilities of laser and light treatments on dyspigmentation, vascular abnormalities, wrinkle reduction, and skin rejuvenation. Dr. Zebaida's goal is to provide each client with a uniquely tailored strategy for achieving cosmetic improvement by utilizing the most advanced and innovative technologies available.
